General Questions
What is LMS and how does it work?
LMS (Learning Management System) is an online platform that allows students to enroll in courses, instructors to create and manage courses, and admins to oversee the entire ecosystem. You can browse courses, enroll, track progress, earn certificates, and more.
How do I create an account?
Click on the "Register" button in the navbar, fill in your details including name, email, password, and select your role (Student or Instructor). Once registered, you can log in and start using the platform.
Is LMS free to use?
Registration is free. Some courses are free while others are paid. Instructors set the price for their courses. You can browse both free and paid courses on our platform.
For Students
How do I enroll in a course?
Browse available courses from the Courses page, click on a course to view details, and click "Enroll Now" or "Buy Now". For free courses, you'll be enrolled immediately. For paid courses, you'll complete the purchase process.
How do I track my learning progress?
Your student dashboard shows your enrolled courses, completed lessons, progress percentage, learning streaks, XP points, and current level. You can also view your badges and certificates.
Can I get a certificate after completing a course?
Yes! Once you complete all lessons in a course, a certificate is automatically generated. You can view and download your certificates from your student dashboard.
What are XP points and levels?
XP (Experience Points) are earned by completing lessons, quizzes, and courses. As you accumulate XP, you level up. Higher levels unlock new badges and achievements. Track your XP progress on your dashboard.
How do I contact my instructor?
You can use the Communication Center in your student dashboard to send direct messages to your instructors. You can also create support tickets for any issues.
For Instructors
How do I create a course?
Navigate to your instructor dashboard, click "Create Course", fill in the course details (title, description, category, price, level), and optionally check "Submit for Approval". Your course will be reviewed by an admin before publishing.
What is the course approval process?
When you submit a course for approval, an admin reviews it. If approved, the course becomes visible to students. If rejected, you'll receive a rejection reason and can make changes before resubmitting.
How do I earn money from my courses?
When a student purchases your paid course, the revenue is split: 80% goes to your wallet and 20% is the platform commission. You can view your earnings on your dashboard and request withdrawals to your bank account.
How do I withdraw my earnings?
Go to your instructor dashboard, enter the withdrawal amount and your bank details in the withdrawal section, and submit. An admin will review and process your withdrawal request. You'll be notified once it's approved.
Can I mark attendance for my students?
Yes! Use the "Mark Attendance" section on your instructor dashboard. Select a course, choose a date, and mark each student as Present, Absent, Late, or Excused.
Payments & Technical
What payment methods are accepted?
Currently, we support simulated payment processing for course purchases. In a production environment, this would integrate with payment gateways like Stripe, PayPal, or Razorpay.
Can I get a refund for a purchased course?
Refund policies depend on the course and instructor. Please contact support through the Contact page or create a support ticket for refund requests.
What browsers are supported?
Our platform works on all modern browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. For the best experience, we recommend using the latest version of your browser.
I forgot my password. What should I do?
On the login page, click "Forgot Password" and enter your email. You'll receive a link to reset your password. If you don't receive an email, contact our support team.
